Eugene A. Jesensky, Sr., age 95, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 15, 2012 from the comfort of his home. He was born May 29, 1916 in Pennsylvania. He has been a resident of Titusville since 1965. Eugene was honored to be a memeber of the First Christian Church of Titusville. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 1, VFW Post 4228, Indian River Moose Lodge 2304 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 3581.

His history and life has been dedicated to the NASA Space Program, starting as early as 1961 with the "Spirit of Oplin" at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas where he was a lead engineer. Eugene lived to see the end of the Apollo Program and the Space Shuttle mission at Kennedy Space Center.

He is preceaded in death by his children's mother Rose and survived by his loving wife Flora Jesensky, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many loving family members and friends. He will be in our hearts forever.

A visitation has been scheduled for Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Newcomer Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel in Titusville, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday May 19 at the First Christian Church of Titusville.
